Taiwan, Turkey boost No. 1 heavy exports U.S. exports of No. 1 heavy melting steel scrap nearly doubled in August from the previous month, boosted by shipments to some unexpected ports.
According to the latest data provided by the U.S. Commerce Department, No. 1 heavy melt exports totaled 163,208 tonnes in August after tumbling 54.6 percent to 88,517 tonnes in July. For the first eight months of the year, U.S. exports of....
