Gibraltar Industries doubles profits in third qtr. on 35.3% sales increase

Newly renamed Gibraltar Industries Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., got positive performances from all of its business units on the way to more than doubling net income in the third quarter compared with the like period last year.
Gibraltar reported earnings of $16.2 million in the most recent quarter compared with $8 million in the third quarter of last year. The increase in net income was achieved on a 35.3-percent increase in net sales.....
