Canada, Ontario governments help Ford build $818M assembly plant

Ford Motor Co. of Canada Ltd. will build a Canadian $1-billion ($818-million) flexible assembly plant at its existing facility in Oakville, Ontario.
The plant near Toronto could employ up to 4,000 workers by the end of 2006, according to the Canadian Auto Workers union. The plant is slated to produce two new vehicles one a Ford brand....
