Republic Engineered ramping up $285,000 saw line at Canton plant

Republic Engineered Products Inc. has started a $285,000 saw line for cutting bars produced at its Canton, Ohio, plant, boosting the company's annual cutting capacity by 40,000 tons.
The producer of special bar quality (SBQ) bar said the line strengthens its in-house processing capabilities and eliminates the Canton operation's need to use outside processors to cut bar.....
