Inco locks in 25-year power supply for its planned Goro nickel project

Inco Ltd., Toronto, has secured a 25-year power supply deal for its planned Goro nickel project in the South Pacific territory of New Caledonia.
Under the terms of the deal, local utility company Enercal SA will supply about 70 percent of the project's expected electricity needs, with the remainder supplied by Goro's own oil-fired generating plant.....
