Niagara's earnings surge to highs, but demand shows signs of easing

Citing higher prices and strong demand for its finished steel bar products, Niagara Corp. reported record earnings and sales for the third quarter.
Niagara posted net income of $5.6 million during the quarter, nearly ten times higher than the $567,000 profit posted in the 2003 third quarter. Sales increased 62 percent to $113.1 million from $69.8 million in the comparable 2003 quarter.....
