USW ratifies five-year contract at Alcan's Sebree plant in Kentucky

Members of the United Steelworkers union at Alcan Inc.'s Sebree aluminum smelter in Kentucky narrowly approved a new five-year labor contract Tuesday.

Greg Atkison, Sebree's acting plant manager, said 244 workers voted in favor of the deal and 220 voted against it. Atkison said the union members are now working under the terms of the new deal.....
