Alcoa eyes Russian nod on RusAl plant buys

Alcoa Inc. expects to receive conditional approval soon from Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to buy Russian Aluminium's Samarsky and Belokalitvinsky rolling mills.

"We will give Alcoa permission to purchase the Samarsky and Belokalitvinsky plants but we will put forward the terms of settlement," Igor Artemjev, FAS chairman, said in a statement.....
