US ferrovanadium hits 6-year high sparked by tight market in Europe

Ferrovanadium prices in the United States have hit a six-year high of $14 to $14.50 a pound on continued strong demand and pronounced market tightness in Europe.

Market participants said that while the U.S. market was free of any major shortages, higher prices in Europe had boosted domestic prices to beyond the highs seen earlier this year.....
