Zinc exports charged by Chinese surge

After sitting by the roadside most of the summer, foreign buyers of zinc scrap jumped back in the driver's seat in August and drove the market to new heights.According to figures released by the U.S. Commerce Department, exports of zinc scrap in August reached their highest level in more than seven years. Much of that gain was attributed to a sharp rise in buying by Chinese importers.....
