Harris Steel posts record income in third qtr. as sales jump 55.6%

Boosted by strong demand and higher steel prices, Harris Steel Group Inc. posted record sales and earnings in the third quarter.

The Toronto-based company said it earned Canadian $21.1 million ($17.5 million) in the three months ended Sept. 30, up sharply from C$3.1 million in the same period last year, on sales that jumped 55.6....
