QAL production on track despite power outage

Queensland Alumina Ltd. (QAL) is still on track to produce 3.85 million tonnes of alumina in 2004 despite interrupted production at its refinery following a power outage at the end of October.
"The outage means that we have had to start things up rather slowly to get back online," said a source at QAL's plant near Gladstone. "But we are still on track to produce the allocated tonnage to the end of....
