Encore, Dietrich finalize venture for framing products in Canada

Encore Coils Inc., Edmonton, Alberta, and Dietrich Metal Framing, a unit of Worthington Industries Inc., Columbus, Ohio, have completed the formation of a Canadian metal framing joint venture and are nearing completion of a flagship facility near Toronto.
The two companies said in June they were in talks on forming the joint venture (AMM, June 16). For Encore, the joint venture will replace its former affiliation with the roll-forming manufacturing business of Corus Group Plc, which was sold separately when the Anglo-Dutch steel....
