Nonferrous exports ease 3.1% in Sept.

U.S. nonferrous scrap exports remained strong in September despite a 3.1-percent dip from August.

Copper and brass exports, which comprise the largest category, slid 7.3 percent, while aluminum scrap provided a partial offset with a 4-percent rise. The other nonferrous scrap metals were all below August's levels.....
