Alcoa, Elkem planning new anode plant at Mosjoen smelter in Norway

Alcoa Inc. has announced plans to invest about $284 million in a new anode plant in Mosjoen, Norway, with Norwegian partner Elkem ASA, Oslo.
The new facility will come online in 2007 in time to supply material to Alcoa's Fjardaal smelter in Iceland as well as the Mosjoen smelter.....
