Copper scrap flowing strongly to Asia, Europe

Copper scrap once again is flowing strongly to the Far East while Europe continues to grow as a healthy outlet for secondary material, according to the latest export statistics from the U.S. Commerce Department.
U.S. exports of copper scrap totaled 199,578 short tons in the third quarter, pushing the year-to-date total 5.6 percent ahead of a year earlier to 584,373 tons.....
