Shreveport warehouse adds boxcar operations

Roll & Hold, a division of ADS Logistics LLC, Homewood, Ill., has added boxcar load-and-unload capabilities to a facility in Shreveport, La., which opened a year ago to handle blanks and pin pallets for the automotive industry.
Executives said the division had begun conversations earlier this year with Union Pacific Railroad to reopen the closed rail service to the building, which was opened by Roll & Hold in September 2003 to handle flat blanks (AMM, Sept. 25, 2003).....
