Fund buying, stock drawdowns lift base metals

London Metal Exchange base metals prices rose in the official trading session Wednesday on further stock drawdowns and fund buying ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Copper strengthened its position, stabilizing at $3,110 a tonne, basis three months, after closing Tuesday's second ring at $3,083. LME copper stocks fell 300 tonnes to 62,050 tonnes.....
