Details sketchy as court opts to defer ruling on Ormet plan

The judge presiding over Ormet Corp.'s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case deferred a ruling Tuesday on the company's reorganization plan.
An Ormet spokesman said the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio met from 2 to 10 p.m. to hear the Wheeling, W.Va.,-based company's motion to approve the plan. The United Steelworkers union is opposed to the plan and had filed....
