Ispat Nová Hut to pare 3,500 jobs by end of 2005 to boost efficiency

Ispat Nová Hut AS will eliminate as many as 3,500 jobs by the end of 2005 as part of initial plans by owner LNM Group to improve efficiency.
LNM Holdings NV, which owns slightly more than 70 percent of the Czech steel company, initially acquired a stake in Nová Hut in January 2003, when the company's work force totaled 11,200.....
