Alcan to cut 520 jobs, close plants in Europe

Aluminum giant Alcan Inc. will cut about 520 jobs as part of a major restructuring across nine of its European operations.
The Montreal-based company said it plans to close its rolled products plant in Flemalle, Belgium, and two packaging operations in Cruseilles, France, and Garbagnate, Italy, as part of the restructuring.....
