High freight rates push down European ferrous

Ferrous scrap export prices have been on the decline in several European markets over the past week.
Finnish scrap exporter Kuusakoski Oy booked an 18,000-tonne mixed cargo to Posco Corp., Seoul, South Korea, for $299.50 and $309.50 a tonne, delivered, down from $327 and $337 paid by a Taiwanese steelmaker in early November for No. 1 heavy melting steel scrap and bonus grade (5-foot plate and structural scrap), respectively.....
