'05 iron ore price rise put at 25-35% as producers vie to set benchmark

Analysts have narrowed their forecasts for next year's iron ore price increase to between 25 and 35 percent as the second round of the Australian-Japanese iron ore price negotiations get under way in Tokyo.
"The first round of negotiations was held Dec. 2 and 3, but it is my understanding that no specific prices were mentioned," Smith Barney commodity analyst Alan Heap said. "The second round starts Dec. 16 for two days."....
