Posco signs pact to take 5% stake in two Australia coking coal mines

South Korea's Posco Ltd. has signed an agreement to buy a 5-percent stake in two eastern Australian coking coal mines from Greenwich, Conn.,-based AMCI Inc.

In return for its investment, the Seoul-based steelmaker has secured a combined 1.2 million tonnes of coal output from the mines each year for 10 years.....
