Wire rope plant gets grants, then burns down

A steel wire rope plant in Sunbury, Pa., caught fire early Wednesday, a day after the new company operating the plant received $2.5 million in grants and loan forgiveness from Pennsylvania.The three-alarm fire was reported just after 330 a.m. at the Wirerope Works Inc. facility, which employs about a dozen people. A spokesman for the Sunbury Police Department said there were no injuries.....
