Nonferrous scrap exports set record

U.S. exports of nonferrous scrap totaled a record 154,776 short tons in October, exceeding by 3.2 percent the previous high of 149,955 tons set in March.
Aluminum scrap, which surpassed 60,000 tons for the first time in August, exceeded 72,500 tons in October, driving the nonferrous export gain, while copper and brass scrap exports were the highest in six months.....
