Ferromoly consumers cautious as prices rise

Domestic ferromolybdenum prices continue to rise to the extent that some consumers are beginning to look for substitute materials, industry participants said this week.

The market has moved sharply in recent weeks, with the most recent reports of business at $35 to $36 a pound. One trader reported sales at $37 to $38 a pound but acknowledged that....
