Ky. port authority to buy Green River Steel site

The Owensboro (Ky.) Riverport Authority has reached an agreement with the Reserve Group of Akron, Ohio, to purchase the former Green River Steel Corp. site in Owensboro.
The purchase is expected to be completed in early February. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The Owensboro Riverport has been negotiating with the Reserve Group on the purchase of the 100-acre former steel mill site since 2002. The site includes 350,000 square feet of mill facilities that will be redeveloped for industrial use.....
