Slowdown in big pipeline projects keeping Ipsco's Regina mills idle

A slowdown in large-diameter pipe projects forced Ipsco Inc. to lay off about 150 employees at its Regina, Saskatchewan, facility over the past two months, a company spokesman confirmed Thursday.
A division of the company that makes pipe for natural gas companies has been idled following the completion of several large orders.....
