Financier Wilbur L. Ross reportedly has pulled out of talks aimed at acquiring Japan's Mitsui Mining Co. Ltd. and will look elsewhere to add to his growing mining holdings.Mitsui Mining, a coke producer, is up for auction in Japan following an accumulation of debt by Mitsui Coal Mining, one of its subsidiary companies. Ross was among a number of bidders interested in acquiring the 52-percent stake in Mitsui Mining currently held by Industrial Revitalization Corp. of....
