Stainless exports ride Asia buying wave

Stronger demand by Chinese and South Korean specialty steelmakers boosted U.S. exports of stainless scrap by 38.4 percent in October.
Exports of 18-8 scrap jumped to 48,219 tonnes in October from 34,842 tonnes the previous month, making it the third highest shipping month in what is fast shaping up as a record shipping year for U.S. stainless scrap exporters, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Commerce Department.....
