China looks unlikely to delay import license program launch

China has signaled that its program to limit scrap imports to a roster of authorized foreign shippers, including 597 U.S. companies, won't be delayed any further.
For companies that applied but didn't make the list, the good news is that new applications will be allowed.
Second attempts will be considered starting six months after the date on a company's rejection notice, according to China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).....
