Nickel exports on a run despite Oct. dip

U.S. exports of nickel scrap dropped in October for the second month in a row, but the overall pace remained well ahead of year-earlier levels despite rising prices.
Shipments of U.S.-generated nickel scrap to foreign consumers totaled 2,448 short tons in October, down 5.3 percent from 2,584 tons the previous month, according to the latest statistics from the Commerce Department. But more than 23,100 tons were sold around the globe in the first 10 months of this....
