Phillips receives Gary Memorial Medal

Roger Phillips, who retired as president and chief executive officer of Ipsco Inc., Lisle, Ill., late last year, has received the 2002 Gary Memorial Medal from the American Iron and Steel Institute in recognition of his contributions to AISI and the global steel industry.
The medal is the most prestigious award presented by the AISI.
Phillips was presented with the medal by John Mayberry, chairman of the AISI and chairman and chief executive officer of Dofasco Inc., Hamilton, Ontario, during the AISI's 110th general meeting here.....
