Former Russel chief quits as Yalian head

Former Russel Metals Inc. chief executive officer Edward "Bud" Siegel Jr. has resigned as acting chief executive of line pipe maker Yalian Steel Corp.
Siegel will be temporarily replaced by Xia Xu, vice president of operations at the Vancouver, British Columbia-based large outside-diameter (OD) line pipe maker, as it searches for a permanent replacement for Siegel, according to Yalian.
Before joining Yalian, Xu served from 2004 to 2007 as chief administrative officer of Hanfeng Evergreen Inc, a specialty fertilizer maker.....
