Boeing, C-17 union sit down with mediators

Boeing Co. and striking workers at the production facility of the C-17 Globemaster III military transport have sat down at bargaining table for the first time since a walkout began on May 11.
Representatives of Chicago-based Boeing and Local 148 of the United Auto Workers of America (UAW) met under the aegis of federal mediators, who said they had brought the two sides together to "resolve" a dispute" that has resulted in suspension of output on the....
