Ilsco buys idled Signature extrusion plant for $3.85M

Ilsco Corp. has bought the idled Signature Aluminum US extrusion plant in Greenville, Pa., for $3.85 million, according to documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.
Ilsco, a Cincinnati-based distributor of electrical connectors, was the only bidder for the shuttered operation, according to a source familiar with the situation. Signature's three other extrusion facilities—in Franklin Park, Ill.; Hamel, Minn.; and Lumber Bridge, N.C.—were not part of the Ilsco purchase, as they had already been abandoned by the estate for lacking equity, the source told AMM.....
