Taiyuan Steel joins venture to develop nickel project

Taiyuan Iron & Steel Co. has joined forces with China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group Co. (CNMC) to develop the 85,000-tonne-per-year Tagaung Taung ferronickel project in Burma.
Tagaung Taung will be the largest mining project between China and Burma when it starts operation in 2011, Taiyuan Steel said.....
