China manganese prices climbing as mine shutdown continues

China's manganese flake prices continue to rise as mines in Huayuan, a major producer in Hunan province, remain shut for a third week.

Authorities ordered the mines shut for comprehensive safety checks following the flooding of two mines, but they had been expected to be allowed to restart by now.....
