China welded pipe export offers up

Chinese pipe producers are lifting export offers despite bleak demand as costs rise and local demand remains healthy.
Offers for API linepipe of 219 mm outside diameter, 2-8 mm wall thickness have risen to $680-690 per tonne fob, from $610-625 per tonne last month.
Producers mostly attributed the price hike to rising production costs, which have grown by 200-500 yuan ($29-73) per tonne in the past month.....
