Japan welded pipemakers mull price hike

Japan's welded pipemakers are poised to lift prices next year thanks to recovering demand and rising material costs.
Japanese pipemakers are now offering $750-830 per tonne fob for X52 products and $800-850 per tonne fob for X65 products.
"There is almost no change in our export offers this month, and we are running at almost full capacity at the moment — like other pipemakers in Japan," an official at a major pipemaker in Japan said.....
