Former GM chief to head SunCoke

Sunoco Inc. has turned to a former automotive executive to head its SunCoke Energy Inc. unit.
Philadelphia-based Sunoco has named Frederick A. "Fritz" Henderson, former president and chief executive officer of General Motors Co., Detroit, as a senior vice president to help prepare for the separation of SunCoke Energy from Sunoco.
Philadelphia-based Sunoco in June announced plans to separate SunCoke Energy from Sunoco as part of a strategy "to unlock shareholder value." Sunoco plans to implement the separation in the first half of 2011, subject to market, regulatory and other conditions, and is presently reviewing a variety of possible separation transactions.....
