Metal industry orders slide in September

New orders dropped last month both for primary metal producers and the fabricated metal products sector.
Primary metal producers' new orders fell 5.5 percent from August but were 26.1 percent ahead of September last year, while shipments inched up 0.1 percent from August and shot up 29.6 percent from a year earlier, according to a U.S. Census Bureau advanced report on....
