Turkey drives increase in US ferrous scrap tags to China

U.S. ferrous scrap prices to China are up $5 to $15 per tonne from last week, propelled by higher international prices due to Turkey's return to the market.

Prices for an 80-20 mix of U.S. No. 1 and No. 2 heavy melting steel scrap are at $400 to $405 per tonne c.f.r. Chinese ports, up from $390 last week, while U.S. shredded rose to $410 to $420 per tonne from $405 to $415.....
