Copper, aluminum imports decline as arbitrage fades in China

China's copper and aluminum imports both fell last month after arbitrage faded, according to preliminary Chinese Customs data.

"The arbitrage window closed, yet China still imported more than 250,000 tonnes of refined copper in September," a trader in China's eastern coastal Zhejiang province said.....
