OmniSource says ‘not guilty’ of stolen metal allegations

OmniSource Corp. is pleading not guilty to allegations that it knowingly purchased stolen metals as scrap, according to the scrap company's lawyers.
OmniSource attorney Larry Mackey entered a not guilty plea in the Marion County, Ind., Superior Court at a preliminary hearing on Friday.
Late last month, a county grand jury returned an eight-count indictment charging OmniSource with corrupt business influence and receiving stolen property. The charges stem from raids at six scrapyards in Indianapolis in February 2009.....
