Houston scrapyard owner admits heroin charges

A North Houston salvage yard owner has pleaded guilty to importing $8 million worth of heroin.
Joel Linares-Soberanis, owner of Nationwide Import Car Salvage, which conducts business in Mexico as well as in the United States, admitted charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute some 17.8 kilograms (nearly 40 pounds) of heroin.....
