Attar Metals adding fourth scrapyard

A Canadian metals recycler is planning to expand its geographic footprint with the opening of a fourth location.
Attar Metals Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, has purchased a 25-acre parcel in Fort Erie, Ontario, that it hopes to open sometime next month. The company is still finalizing plans regarding how it intends to use the facility, which initially could serve as a transfer station and feeder yard for its other locations. Scales are currently being installed.
"We are thrilled to have this opportunity to expand into Fort Erie and become an integral part of the Fort Erie community and partner in this region's economic recovery," said Andy Attar, who along with brothers Larry and Alan operate three recycling facilities in Mississauga. "Attar Metals Fort Erie represents the next stage of growth for our family business, and we are all looking forward to this opportunity."....
