Mass. board set to rescind Excel Recycling's zoning permit

A local Massachusetts zoning board has voted to overturn a previous decision to give a recycler the zoning designation it needs to operate.
The Westport Zoning Board of Appeals has told Excel Recycling LLC that it intends to reverse a previously awarded "administrative finding/special permit" following a lawsuit and complaints from neighbors that the recycler was generating too much noise and traffic for a residential area. A hearing date will be set at a November zoning board meeting.....
