Arnold to step up to Ryerson helm in January

Steel processor and distributor Ryerson Inc. has tapped Michael C. Arnold to serve as its new president and chief executive officer beginning in January.

Arnold, 54, is currently executive vice president of Timken Co.. He will succeed Stephen E. Makarewicz, 63, who in May announced plans to retire at the beginning of 2011.....
